Born somewhere between dusty vinyl, retro anime and pure nostalgia - I turn feelings into loops and memories into movement.

My dad was a soul head - the kind that played Marvin and Donny on Sunday mornings like it was gospel. He said every good song’s got a memory inside it… you just gotta dig.

I started sampling his records… flipping soul into house music, euphoric classics into energetic dance music. He passed, but the crate stayed.

That’s when kai.wav was born. A file name. A feeling. A way to keep him close.

Now I spend my nights cruising through Venice Beach - bliss in my system, headphones on, turning old emotions into dance tracks.

When I’m not producing, I’m watching grainy retro anime or running it back on the PS2. it’s all part of the same loop...
